Paisley Summer Reading Program

Catch the Reading Bug Summer Reading Program registration Wednesday, June 18th at 10am

Kicking-off on Wednesday June 18th at 10am the Paisley Branch Library invites children entering kindergarten up to Sixth Grade to participate in the 2008 Summer Reading Program "Catch the Reading Bug!"  Every Wednesday for eight weeks a party will be held at the Paisley Branch Library where participants will enjoy crafts, snacks, storytimes, and performances by special local guests.  Enrollment is free, one may join at any point in the program, and parents are not required to supervise children during the program.

Each week participants will record the number of minutes they read and turn these records in at the following Thursday's party.  The person with the highest number of minutes that week will earn the grand prize while anyone who turned in at least one minute will earn a pick from the prize box and a chance to enter the weekly book raffle.  At the end of the year a final drawing for a grand prize will be held with tickets earned over the course of the program.

The program's final party will be held at the Paisley Branch Library August 8th where the kids will be recognized for their hard work and participation.  We hope to see you there!
