What if every Oregonian read the same book?

"Those who decide to use leisure as a means of mental development, who love good music, good books, good pictures, good plays, good company, good conversation -- what are they? They are the happiest people in the world."

Summer Reading Program kick-off party and registration, come join in the fun!!!

Two Reading BugsCome sign up for the 2008 Summer Reading Program and enjoy treats with us at the Lake County Library.  All children from entering Kindergarten in 2008 to 6th graders are welcome to Catch the Reading Bug!

The Summer Reading Program is designed to promote the resources the library has to offer to youth and their families while encouraging them to continue reading throughout the summer vacation and having fun in the process.   Each week the children will welcome special guests and participate in bug themed
story times, crafts,  and snacks while making new friends and practicing positive reading habits/skills.
Detailed schedules will be handed out at registration; we hope to see you there!
