What if every Oregonian read the same book?

Mr. Bill Mitchell will use magic and laughter to get families and kids of all ages interested in the 2008 Summer Reading Program 'Catch the Reading Bug.'

The 2008 theme is woven through the magic as the audience is introduced to various books and characters that demonstrate how much fun reading can be.  Eric Carle's "Very Hungry Caterpillar", Jack Kent's "Caterpillar and the Pollywog" and Calvin and Hobbes are just some of the books and characters that make their appearance throughout the show.  The emphasis is on fun, as the kids watch and participate in a fast-paced interactive show that entertains and educates.
