Lakeview Summer Reading Program

Fun Summer activities for children K-6th grades!

The Lakeview Library is holding an 8 week Summer Reading Program starting with registration Monday, June 18 at 10 a.m. and ending Friday, August 10. All students in grades K-6 are eligible to sign up. Grade is determined by whatever grade the student is entering in the fall.

All summer reading participants will receive a certificate. Throughout the program, students earn small prizes for every three hours, up to six hours per week, that they read. We will celebrate the students' achievements on Saturday, August 18, at 10:30 a.m. at the Daycare Park. There will be refreshments and prizes.

In conjunction with the reading program there will be a one hour get together Tuesday mornings beginning at 10a.m. There will be an arts and crafts project or activity, story time and a snack. One week will feature a musical presenter.

Children should plan to bring a 1" school pciture for the first activity, making a super sleuth badge, Tuesday, June 19, 10 a.m.
